Right to

information

Our platform includes products that give our customers the opportunity to display or show target group-specific or user-orientated advertising. Advertisers use various factors, such as the advertising environment or assumed interests and preferences of users, to decide which adverts are displayed when and on which end device. Within the scope of these products, Virtual Minds does not process any personal data that directly identifies you (e.g. name, email address, postal address), but only information in connection with your surfing and user behaviour on websites, mobile applications and other digital offers. To collect this information, each individual product marks the browser you are using with a cookie. This cookie stored on the respective browser contains an identifier (“cookie identifier” or “cookie ID”) that is relevant for the respective product. In contrast to websites, the so-called MAID is used to identify the device for advertising and content that is displayed in programmes (apps) on the mobile phone. This MAID is a unique identifier that is stored in your device and linked by apps. Either cookie or MAID, together with the information requested below, is required to verify your application and your identity.

As the controller in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), we are obliged – and accordingly obliged to check and ensure – that information is only provided to the authorised recipient. For further processing of your request, it is therefore necessary for you to download the 📄 proof of identity form, fill it out, sign it and send it back to us by e-mail (data.privacy@virtualminds.com).

  • Android users: Settings -> Google -> Ads -> Advertising ID
  • iOS users: Your IDFA cannot be viewed in the device settings (only a reset is possible), but can be displayed via various third-party apps (e.g. the Identifier).
